EmailPax Christi is an international Christian peacemaking movement, based on the gospel and inspired by faith. Our vision is of a world where people can live in peace and without fear of violence, in all its forms. We believe in the power of prayer, reconciliation, forgiveness, justice and nonviolence and in the right to live in a culture which promotes these values and treats the whole of God's creation in a respectful and just manner.

Pax Christi News
Pax Christi and the Pope
Members of the Pax Christi Youth Network, resplendent in Peace Flags, attended the Papal visit events in Hyde Park and at Westminster Cathedral. Together with experiencing the days events as young catholics they came with hundreds of peace badges to distribute to other young people to promote peacemaking as part of the Christian vocation. The badges were happily accepted by most but Anne Widdecombe was not so welcoming. When approached with the offer of a badge she refused since Pax Christi are anti trident. There remains work to be done!
